The East Falls Historical Society is a 501c3 tax-exempt educational organization founded in 2004. Their mission is to preserve, protect and promote the history of the East Falls community. There, they acquire articles and objects of historic importance, which are properly archived and cataloged. The society holds walking tours and free programs of historical interest. They interview residents for oral histories, offer advocacy for preservation of historic sites, maintain a collection of historic photos, apply for grants, and answer reference questions from the public. Volunteers are welcome to assist in these endeavors.
